What a Weekend
Wow...this weekend has just been...whoa. Let me describe.
Saturday was my stepsister's wedding. We had it here at the house. With about 20 kids. No, really. It was a beautiful ceremony, tho. Tamra and Darrin have four children between them, and the wonderful preacher involved the kids in the ceremony and the candle-lighting. They had two candles for Tam and Darrin, and one for each of the four kids. It was cool.
Afterwards, we had cake and punch, nothing too fancy. That's when my older sister got the phone call: Holly, my other stepsister, had a seizure and was rushed to ER. Of course, my sister, her boyfriend, my neice and I rushed out to ER. Thankfully, Holly was OK...she had gotten off some medication, and that caused her to have a seizure. Scary stuff.
After that drama, I headed over to Jeff and Debbie's for the wedding after-party. My stepdad's brother was there with his wife (I guess) and new baby. He really upset Mom, too. When he was taking family pictures, he didn't try to include me. And by that, I mean: My stepdad and Mom asked him repeatedly, "What about Reag?" I even asked him, "Do you want me in the picture?" But he never responded. Mom was upset. I told her not to worry about it, tho. Some people do stuff like that, no matter what. I guess he just wanted my stepdad's side of the family and didn't want to worry about non-family. Sigh.
Well, today was nowhere near as dramatic, thus far. I went to church, had lunch with everyone, did a bit of shopping, and went home. Such is my life.
On a more exciting note (I suppose), only five more days until I turn 26! I'm gonna go see the RedHawks for my birthday on Friday. Should be lots of fun...spending time with my friends...
